Bold is the new Extreme!

bold |bōld| adjective
  1.   (of a person, action, or idea) showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous:
  2.   (of a color or design) having a strong or vivid appearance:

I'm starting to notice a new trend in advertising. Company's are starting to add the word BOLD to their products.

Chili's Restaurant urges you to "Go Bold with Chili's new $20 Dollar dinner for two"

Chili's is not Bold, nor will it ever be,. (Sorry @DadBoner)

Blue Diamond offers New "Bold" Flavors of Almonds.

By Bold I think Blue Diamond means way too salty! Nuts are supposed to be healthy for you, not raise your cholesterol!

Matador Beef Jerk has got "Bold" flavors too

Still nothing Bold about these flavors. The only one worth buying IMO is the Somikin' BBQ.

Doritos offer 20%  more free "Bold" bites in here!

The only time I eat Doritos is when they mysteriously appear in my Las Vegas hotel room. Still not bold.

...and then there's this "Bold" flavors of summer food guide.

I don't even know what they are trying to advertise here...Beef?

So I wouldn't be too surprised to see more and more adverts popping up touting "BOLD" new something or other, much like the word EXTREME was used incessantly.

What's next? Budweiser BOLD? Brewed with mesquite wood chips!
